The American Wagner Project's mission is to develop a new generation of singers able to draw audiences into the music of Richard Wagner. We partner with the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, under the leadership of renowned mezzo-soprano Dolora Zajick, as the umbrella organization for the AWP. Now in its third year, the AWP is led by Wagnerian soprano Luana DeVol (Executive Director) and WSWDC Board member John Edward Niles (Program Director) and is supported by WSWDC.

This year's concert will feature Mezzo-Soprano Gillian Yemen, Tenor William Green, and Bass-Baritone Daniel Minton. The program will include selections from Der fliegende Holländer, Die Walküre, Tannhäuser, and Parsifal.

A cast dinner party will follow the concert at Café Deluxe, 3228 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, a short distance from the concert venue.

Concert tickets: $15. FREE for WSWDC members and students, but you must RSVP. Click here to RSVP online or call 703-370-1923. Purchase tickets online using the form below.
