Details
Ms. Wilson, an alumna of the Wagner Society’s American Wagner Project, will present a program of songs, including Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and the Four Last Songs of Richard Strauss. Ms. Wilson’s repertoire includes the roles of Senta, Brünnhilde, Isolde, and Gutrune, among many others. She has performed throughout North America, Europe, Japan, and Taiwan to glowing reviews. Opera News commented that “Jennifer Wilson’s resplendent Brünnhilde bears comparison with the very greatest of her historic predecessors.” In 2016, she received the Society’s highest honor, the Richard Wagner award, for her achievements in the Wagnerian repertoire.
Mr. Kahn is a pianist and conductor and has performed in prestigious venues worldwide, and accompanied notable artists including Sherrill Milnes, Nadine Sierra, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Marylin Horne, Sir Bryn Terfel, Pretty Yende and violinist Josua Bell, among others.
